Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing or playing Fathoms, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not play.

2. What Fathoms is

Fathoms is a word puzzle game for iPhone, published by Techniciti SARL, registered in Strasbourg, France. It is sold exclusively through the Apple App Store. There is no other distribution channel, and there is no subscription.

3. Licence

Techniciti grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Fathoms on devices you own or control, subject to Apple's App Store terms. You own your streak and your saved game data. You do not own the game code, the artwork, the word lists, the music or any other component of Fathoms itself.

4. Age

Fathoms is rated 4+ on the App Store. No age restriction applies beyond what the App Store enforces.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile or modify the app
• Circumvent in-app purchases, if any exist in future versions
• Distribute the app or any part of it
• Use the app in a way that harms Techniciti, Apple, or other users

6. Word lists

The word lists are curated per language. They are not a literal dictionary. A word that scores in English may not score in French, and vice versa. We reserve the right to add, remove or alter words. If a word you consider valid is missing, email support@techniciti.eu — we read everything.

7. Updates

We release updates through the App Store. Each update is subject to these same Terms unless we update them, in which case the new Terms supersede the old. Continued use after an update means you accept the current Terms.

8. Warranty and liability

The game is provided as-is. We do our best to make it work on every supported iPhone and iOS version, but we cannot guarantee it. If you experience a bug, email support@techniciti.eu and we will try to fix it. To the maximum extent permitted by French law, Techniciti's liability to you is limited to the purchase price you paid Apple for the game.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by email will be submitted to the courts of Strasbourg, France.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the most recent change.
